WASHINGTON WEEKLY COPYRIGHT POLICY:
After almost two years of publication, the Washington Weekly
is still operating in the red. Even worse, since the beginning of
1996, the number of subscribers has been going down, not up.
Needless to say, the survival of the Weekly is threatened, and we
are unable to finance the kind of investigative reporting we
would like to do.
It seems like a lot of people are reading the Weekly, but
only few are willing to pay for it. If you have been sharing the
Weekly with a friend or posting it to a mailing list, please ask
them to enter a subscription of their own. And remember, if you
are distributing without notifying us, you are violating our
copyright. Your cooperation will be appreciated. - Marvin Lee
