Bill's Sinuses
- by John Crudele, October 18, 1996

Bill Clinton's release of summaries of his medical history seems to have defused the furor over his previous refusal to do so. Bob Dole hasn't peeped about the matter since the disclosure a few weeks ago.

But the folks down in Arkansas who are investigating every inch of Clinton's life are particularly interested in an entry in the summary that says "sinus window (Caldwell Luc) surgery for sinusitis - 1979."

They'd like to know exactly how Clinton screwed up his sinuses. Sources tell me four Arkansas state troopers have already told Kenneth Starr's investigators that they witnessed Bill Clinton using cocaine.

Why do I put this in a financial column? Because Wall Street's biggest vulnerability right now is political uncertainty. And my nose for news tells me there'll be plenty of that before too long.
